Google Demo Slam, a place where tech demos become a showcase

If you haven’t heard, a couple of days ago, Google launched a new website called Demo Slam; at first it was unclear what this website was about, a temporary Adobe Flash animation was the only thing they had, but today we know… Google is hoping that Demo Slam would be a place where boring or uninteresting tech demos and Google products could become more viral with the help of Google users.

It seems that there is a lack of interest in technology demos and Google wants everybody to participate, so anyone can make a tech demo and showcase it in the website. When you go to Demo Slam you will find the button Show the world what you can do, where you will find some instruction and guide lines on how to upload your tech demo and show it off in Demo Slam.

“Beginning today, you can watch Preseason Slams and declare a Champ of the week. Then each week, new featured slams will vie for your attention and a shot at demo glory. Think you can create a Slam-worthy demo? Choose a bit of tech you love and show the world what you can do.”

Here is a tech demo from the Paul brothers play Chubby Bunny with Google Search by Voice for their Demo Slam.
