Ready to track Santa on Christmas Eve, but with Google Maps

Google Santa tracker

Are you ready to track Santa on Christmas Eve? Looks like Google is ready since the company has decided to keep on going with his own Santa Tracker after ending its contract of five years with NORAD.

Now Bing will take over the official Santa-tracker from NORAD while Google will offer minute-to-minute precision with a new route algorithm to follow Santa Claus’ path across the world —

Google Maps and Google Earth will begin to show you Santa’s path starting at 2 AM PT on Christmas Eve. There is also Chrome extension and Android app for those of you on the road, and of course Twitter, Facebook and Google+, where you are able to set up updates for Google Maps.
