Microsoft announces Xbox One public event on June 10th

If you don’t have a lot to do on June 10th and you live in Los Angeles, you should probably attend the Xbox One public event. Larry Hryb (a.k.a Major Nelson), Microsoft’s director of Xbox Live, is inviting everyone to “a special Xbox Community meet up” on Monday, June 10th, 2013.

In the public event you’ll have the chance to meet Larry Hryb and other members of the Xbox One team, plus they will be showing off for the first time Xbox One in the public. Hryb’s invitation also noted that you will also have the opportunity to grab and demo the new Xbox One controller — and other surprises as well. — They are expecting a big crowd, so if you’re planning to attend, get there early!

  • Where: The Microsoft Store, Westfield Century City in Los Angeles (Directions
  • When: Monday, June 10th from 7:30pm – 9:00pm 
  • Why: Come meet members of the Xbox team and see the Xbox One with your own eyes, plus take the Xbox One controller for a spin and see (and feel) for yourself the improvements we’ve made to one of the best controllers in gaming.

Just as another piece of information, all Microsoft Stores will be streaming the E3 2013 press conference starting at 12:30 pm ET (9:30 am PT) on June 10th. If you’re one of the first 25 people to arrive at the store you’ll also get a code for 3 month of Xbox Live Gold membership.
