On April 8, 2014, Microsoft finally released Windows 8.1 Update, a collection of tweaks and enhancements to improve the user experience using the operating system, specially focus on traditional users still on keyboard and mouse. And today the company has release four short video clips to walk you through the new improvements with Windows 8.1 Update.

Video 1

The first tutorial focuses on Windows Desktop, how to changing preference such as how to boot to desktop, and how move between the desktop and Start screen.

Video 2

The second tutorial focuses on how to use the option (Search, Share, Start, Devices, and Settings) Charms with Windows 8.1 Update.

Video 3

The third tutorial video from the Windows YouTube channel focuses on the Metro-style environment. It walks you through the Start screen, how to the new features on the Start screen, how to group live tiles, and the snap mode.

Video 4

The fourth tutorial video, and final, goes deeper on how users should personalize the Start screen, changing the Lock screen settings. Pin apps to the Start screen and more.

Although Windows 8.1 Update, it’s just an update and not a new version of the operating system, the videos published by Microsoft will help users get a better understanding on how move around Windows, specially in the modern user-interface and using the keyboard and mouse.
