Thus far all information points out that Microsoft will be launching its smartwatch later this fall, but today a new report from the International Business Times also reveals a bit more on the features the watch will include. According to the report the wearable will feature an UV sensor and a blood-glucose monitor.

The UV sensor apparently will work to warn users of harmful levels of ultraviolet radiation from sunlight and help prevent skin cancer. The blood-glucose monitor will track users fitness levels and aid users who have diabetes.

The report by the International Business Times also states that the wearable will launch before the year ends, as we previously heard.

Previous rumors also suggested that Microsoft will introduce a smartwatch with eleven sensors. It will feature a heart monitor sensor, which will track heart rate 24/7. The battery is said to last three days without recharging. And the wearable will support all major phones, including Windows Phone, iPhone, and Android.

Gathering all the reports, all indicate that Microsoft has a clear focus on health and fitness, and not just style, as we also previously heard that the watch is actually a wristband and not a normal wrist watch.

Stay tuned for more information. Let’s everyone know what you think thus far about the watch, although we still know very little.
