Microsoft Band: the getting started guide

Microsoft Band main features

Microsoft just released its wearable fitness tracker device, it’s called the Band, and it’s available now. Priced at $199.99, the wristband is fully compatible with Windows, Apple, and Android phones.

With the Band, the software giant is also making available the Microsoft Health app for Windows Phone, iPhone, and Android.

To get started with wristband, Microsoft has put together a very comprehensive “Get started with your Microsoft Band” guide. Unlike other products, this isn’t a PDF guide you can download, instead it’s an online guide divided into nine sections that will guide you through the product, how to check the fit and charge it. Also explains how to get started with the Microsoft Health app and more importantly how to pair the Band with your phone, it walks you through personalizing the tiles and the Start Strip, and a lot more.

If you already have you own Band or if you’re just curious to know what everything fits together, this guide is for you.
