Xbox One May update to add stream games to Windows 10 devices option

Xbox app for Windows 10

Microsoft is slowly updating Xbox One to allow streaming games to Windows 10 devices. Since the software giant showed of the feature back in January, we knew that streaming Xbox One games to Windows 10 devices using the Xbox app was coming.

However, recently a preview build of the Xbox One May system update began rolling out to preview members and many have spotted the new “Allow game streaming to other device (beta)” in Settings, under the Preferences section.

We heard the feature would be coming later this year, because we all assumed Microsoft will make it available in time for the release of Windows 10, but we’ve never gotten a specific date from the company. Now, it appears that we could be expecting the game streaming feature sometime in May, at least for preview members. However, this is just part of the equation; Microsoft has yet to update the Xbox app for Windows 10, which is the other component to make the functionality work.
