The next Windows 10 Mobile preview likely to arrive today, May 14

Microsoft likely to roll out Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 later today for all Lumia phones.

Windows 10 Mobile

Today, May 14, Microsoft is likely to release a new Windows 10 Mobile preview. It’s been a while, but today Insiders may finally be getting the Windows 10 Mobile preview build 10080, as Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul has suggested that a new version is on the horizon for all Lumia phones.

If the company delivers the new build for phones, not only all the previous Lumia handsets will be getting the new Windows 10 Mobile build, but also the Lumia Icon/930 and the new Lumia 640 XL will be getting the new bits.

Although, it’s still not clear, it is likely that build 10080 will be released to the Fast ring of updates. If you have one of the devices that wasn’t supported before, you probably want to install the Windows Insider app and register as an insider to get the new version of the operating system when it releases later today.

Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 is expected to be a significant update with new UI changes, focus on universal Windows apps, a new Store beta to download the new Office apps, and overall we are expecting to see a more refined operating system.

Keep in mind that like any other preview, it’s not a finish product, as such bugs and other issues are expected, and you shouldn’t be using any of the previews as your primary operating system.

Update: Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 is now for download.
