Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 won’t release to the Slow ring

Microsoft won't be releasing Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 to the Slow ring, but the next build might.

Windows 10 for phones

Microsoft recently pushed out a new preview of Windows 10 Mobile with a number of improvements, new Office apps, and support for new phones. However, build 10080 was available to Windows Insiders via the Fast ring of updates. So, if you’re waiting for Microsoft to patch the build and get it ready for the Slow ring, well… This won’t happen.

Although, Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 brings a bunch of new features and improvements, the software still heavily under development, and Microsoft made it known that there are various bugs with this build. Even more, many users are reporting several other issues that the software maker wasn’t aware.

Now, looking at the issues, it appears will limit Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 to the Fast ring of update and the next build will probably make it to the Slow ring. On a new Tweet Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul says that “10080 isn’t likely to go to Slow ring because of a few issues being reported. We’ll look to the next build as candidate for Slow.”
