Microsoft is reportedly gearing up to release two new Windows 10 Mobile devices. While the rumor still thin, according to a new report from WinFuture.de and DrWindows.de, both German websites, claim to have accurate information about the two mobile devices.
According to WinFuture.de, besides the tech specs we have already heard back in May, both devices going by the codename of “Talkman” and “Cityman” will reportedly have an aluminum body frame with a design close to the Lumia 830. Furthermore, the same reports say that the back cover of the devices will be made of polycarbonate and they will be removable covers.
Perhaps the most interesting piece of information worth noting is that DrWindows.de details that both Windows 10 Mobile phones will feature the newly released USB Type-C connector port, which up until now was only found in those new Apple’s MacBook computers. However, what’s important is that it seems that the USB Type-C is one piece of hardware that will allow these new devices to feature the new Continuum for Phones, which will be part of Windows 10 Mobile.
In addition, it’s said that the new Talkman and Cityman phones will feature wireless charging and iris scanner to unlock the phone using biometrics. Finally, the German site also reveals that Microsoft is already working on a successor for the Lumia 1020 featuring a 41MP camera, but it’s not likely to be released this year.
