Microsoft issues two important updates for Windows 10 build 10130 addressing problems with Wi-Fi and Outlook Mail app. Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul in charge of the Windows Insider program announced the two updates. The company also rolls out a third update that resolves an issue that crashes Outlook Mail app before upgrading to the latest build.
KB3069068 fixes the unexpected loss of Wi-Fi connectivity in Windows 10 build 10130. According to Microsoft the Windows Connection Manager Service (WCMsvc) stops responding in Windows 10 causing unexpected loss of wireless network connectivity.
KB3069065 address an issue that might crash the Outlook Mail app and will not sync email when running in the background. Microsoft details that when you run the Outlook Mail app in Windows 10, it may crash due to a memory error, and doesn’t synchronize emails when the app is running in the background.
KB3069066 is an update that users will be offered to download before upgrading to Windows 10 build 10130. This is a dynamic update that also fixes the problem in which Outlook Mail might crash due to memory error and wouldn’t sync emails when it’s running in the background.
It’s good to see Microsoft smashing bugs this quickly, the two fixes resolved by these updates were part of build 10130 known issues. However, there is still a bug in the flyouts from the Taskbar that needs to get resolve; maybe if the company pushes another update could make this build to roll out to the Slow ring, which also means that we could be seeing new ISO files.
Microsoft recently announced that it will officially release Windows 10 on July 29, and as we get closer to that day, the company is moving quickly to fix bugs and other issues as fast as possible, instead of adding new features.
