Spotify now offers free music streaming to Windows Phone users

Spotify for Widows Phone free music streaming

After being available for almost a year on iOS and Android, today Windows Phone users can enjoy free stream Spotify music. Until now the Spotify app for Windows Phone OS had limited streaming to premium subscribers. However, the app received a new update and now anyone without a premium account, can simply “Shuffle Play” to stream music for free.

Starting today Windows Phone 8/8.1 handsets can update or download the updated app to stream ad-supported music at no extra charge.

The updated Spotify app from the Windows Store also includes bug fixes, additional tweaks for better search and music discovery to improve the user experience.
