Microsoft is now rolling out a new firmware update for its Surface Pro 3 tablet. The January release is a minor update that improves the system performance of the device, and improves Intel video and audio using Miracast and docked video performance on Windows 10.

According to the Microsoft changelog in the Surface Pro 3 Update History support page, these are the complete list of changes.

  • Intel HD Graphics Family: 20.19.15.4568 improves Miracast and docked video performance.
  • Intel Display Audio: 6.16.00.3197 improves Miracast and docked video performance.
  • Surface Pro UEFI: 3.11.2050.0 improves system performance for the latest Windows versions.
