Microsoft delivers Windows 10 build 15060 through the Fast ring for PCs. The new release is part of the Creators Update due in early April, but it’s simply a small update with no new features or visual changes.
Windows 10 build 15060, according to the company, smashes several bugs and brings new improvements to get the Creators Update one step closer to completion. However, this flight ships with a number of known issues that you should be aware before installing.
What’s new on Windows 10 build 15060
On build 15060, Microsoft is fixing a few minor issues with Settings app, and now it should work as expected.
Microsoft Edge gets updated addressing a problem preventing the browser from launching again after crashing, issues typing the search box, and the F12 Developers Tools should work as expected.
This flight also fixes the issue that caused Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 from installing new features updates while using a SD card.
As for known issues on Windows 10 build 15060, you’ll be unable to download additional language packs on this build.
If your computer fails to install build 15060 on reboot with the error 8024a112, you’ll need to reboot manually again.
Some devices may get the error “Some updates were cancelled. We’ll keep trying in case new updates become available” in Windows Update. You can try this workaround to fix it.
Certain apps and games may crash due to a misconfiguration of advertising ID, the restart reminder dialog won’t appear, and some hardware configurations may cause the broadcast live review window in the Game bar to flash Green while you are Broadcasting.
