Tech Recap: Windows 10 Creators Update edition

Microsoft released a new version of Windows 10, pushed out new updates, and a new Redstone 3 preview — Here's everything you missed.

This week on PUREinfoTech: The Creators Update for Windows 10 is finally out, and it’s slowly rolling out to millions of devices around the world.

Although the look and feel of Windows 10 remains the same, in this new version you’ll find a number of great new features and enhancements. If you want to know what’s new, watch my hands-on video review highlighting all the new features. Additionally, I’ve also added a guide listing everything that’s new in the new feature update of Windows 10.

Microsoft also released cumulative update KB4015583 for Windows 10 version 1703 addressing a number of problems with the Creators Update, and update KB4015217 for version 1607 bringing a slew of fixes for devices running the Anniversary Update.

In addition, Windows 10 build 16176 rolled out this week for devices enrolled in the Fast ring. This is a new test version of the next major update of Windows 10, currently known as the Redstone 3 update.
