As we get closer to the end of another month, Microsoft is now announcing the games Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download for free during the month of May. Through the fifth month of 2016, the software giant will be offering four titles as part of the Games with Gold program, including Defense Grid 2, Costume Quest 2, GRID 2, and Peggle.
Although, Microsoft is making available two games for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360, it’s worth pointing out that titles available for Xbox 360 through the Games with Gold program are playable in the new console thanks to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature.
During the month of May 2016, Xbox One owners with an active Xbox Live Gold membership can download Defense Grid 2 ($14.99 ERP) for free. Then from May 16th until June 15th, Costume Quest 2 ($14.99 ERP) will be available as a free download.
On Xbox 360, from May 1st and until May 15th, GRID 2 ($24.99 ERP) will be free for members. Finally, on May 16th and until the end of the month, Peggle ($9.99 ERP) will be available for download at no extra cost.
