The Windows Store offers fifty percent off on apps and games during the holiday season. Similar to the “12 Days of Deals” at the Microsoft Store, which brings Windows 8.1 product and services at discounted prices from 12\09 through 12\20, the “12 Red Strip Deals” brings selected Windows 8.1 apps and games to the Windows for at least 50% off.
Originally the software giant was only going to offer an Xbox game, one indie game, and a popular app each week, but now the deals will last the entire month of December. Microsoft isn’t just doing promotional event for PCs, but also for Windows Phones through the Windows Phone Store.
To get the deals, simply launch the Windows Phone or Windows Store and look for the “12 Red Stripe Deals” banner.
