Windows 8.1 demo video emerges showcasing new features

For a few months now, we’ve been learning about a massive wave of features and improvements coming in the Windows 8.1 update, but until recently Microsoft officially started showing all these new changes and we’ve only seen a few screenshots. Today the software giant has released a Windows 8.1 video demo that showcases many of the improvements and features coming in the June 26th update.

In the new clip titled “First Look to Windows 8.1”, which is about 4.5 minutes, Microsoft is demoing new UI improvements, Start screen changes, the new Search capability with Bing integration, and SkyDrive. However, the company did not include a particular feature: the Start button, which has already been confirmed that is coming, together with the boot-to-desktop, features aimed to get onboard more business users.
