Windows 10 is the next operating system from Microsoft that will work across platforms, including PCs, tablets, and phones. The company is also trying to include as many devices as possible for the future upgrade, which also includes low-end Windows Phone hardware.
Previously, Microsoft promised that Windows 10 will come to low-end 512MB of RAM devices, but the company points out that features may vary depending on the hardware specification.
Although, we don’t know exactly what features the software maker will be cutting out from the final release, we’re not expecting the same problem we’ve seen upgrading Windows Phone 7 to Windows Phone 8, where many devices were not able to upgrade to the latest software and Windows Phone 7.8, which only included a few features from Windows Phone 8.

This is something the company doesn’t want to recur, as such chances are low-end Windows Phone 8 hardware will get the Windows 10 upgrade, but features may just vary depending on the hardware capability.
Low hardware specification Windows Phones with 512MB of RAM, include the Lumia 520, Lumia 530, and Lumia 630. As such, users owning one of these devices are likely not to get all the Windows 10 features Microsoft is working on for the mobile platform.
Even though, the software maker is planning to release a preview version of Windows 10 for phones this month, it’s still unclear the specific date, but it’s likely it will happen in the coming days, and it won’t be a version compatible with all phones.
