Android Nougat is the new version of Google’s mobile operating system that doesn’t significantly change the way we use phones and tablets, but it includes a slew of new features and changes that make mobile devices more productive, secure, and a little more enjoyable.

Among the new features, Nougat brings an awesome new addition for those users who speak more than one language. While the previous version of Android included the ability to change the main language on your device, the new feature allows you to easily add multiple languages.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to add multiple languages on your Android Nougat phone/tablet.

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Select Language & input.

  4. Select OK to confirm the removal.

After you have configured your languages, Android Nougat will automatically update your phone or tablet to use whatever language you set as default without the need of having to restart your device. In addition, apps will also switch to your primary language, but if an app doesn’t support your primary language, then the new feature will force the app to switch to next language on your list.
