Bring Instagram photos back to Twitter with this simple extension

Instagram and Twitter

If you use Instagram and Twitter, you might have heard the news by now; the photo sharing service (owned by Facebook) do not longer allow photos be viewed on Twitter. Moving forward, an image shared in the microblogging site will only display a link, which will redirect to Instagram’s site.

With the photo sharing site disabling Twitter cards support, photos will not longer appear in Tweets or in the user photo profile. However not everything is lost, there still a pretty simple workaround, that is if you are a Google Chrome user, which you probably are. InstaTwit is a Chrome extension that brings images back to the microblogging site, the only drawback is that it only works in a desktop computer and images will not get included into the user library.

As Jon Rusell explains at The Next Web, the extension is really simple to use and the beauty is that images will appear once again in cards.
