Well, if you don't have the "Network Adapters" page, then you have a different problem, and if it doesn't make this guide incorrect.
The "Network Adapters" page should be in Control Panel even if you don't have a network card.

You’re using Microsoft Edge without a Microsoft account. Sign in with a Microsoft account, when you use the Edit option, you will be able to use any image.

When I reached the “edit” option on the “settings” page, there was no New Picture button. There was just a text box with my profile name, and a series of really lame generic graphics options to choose from (mostly dopey looking animals and poorly rendered food). I know that I had previously used a custom avatar as a picture for this profile. Is there any way I can get the custom image associated with the profile again?
