I use Long Path Tool to fix this. The tool fixes errors such as path too long, too long path, destination path too long or cannot delete file

I would like to suggest you, try LongPathTool program to resolve this issue.

This tool is very helpful to resolve the issue.

It happened to me too. There is an error in the command in the step 15. Should be

cd /d %1

instead of

cd %1

/d flag is needed to change the current DRIVE in addition to changing folder.

I didn’t, I tried it on a folder located in “D:” partition, but instead it deleted some of the files in “C:WindowsSystem32”.
it’s been a year but I still remember, because it caused me serious trouble at work.
