Dell’s 2017 XPS 27 all-in-one is built for quality sound with 10 speakers

At CES 2017, Dell unveils its new XPS 27 AiO PC featuring 10 speakers for high-end sound.

CES 2017 — Dell is taking sound on PC to a totally different level, as in its new XPS 27 all-in-one for 2017 adds an impressive array of 10 speakers, which perhaps makes it the best Windows 10 PC with built-in sound.

The new desktop sports six speakers pointed right at you — four of the speakers are cover the mid and bass frequencies, and dedicated tweeters in each corner. In addition, there are couple passive radiators for deeper bass and two down-firing speakers for a more immersive sound experience.

The sound is what it makes the XPS 27 stand out from the crowd, otherwise it’s just another regular all-in-one PC. For tech specs, the 2017 XPS 27 all-in-one features a 27-inch 4K 3840 x 2160-pixel resolution display covering 100 percent the Adobe RGB color space, and you can get it with touch or without a touch-enabled display.

While the touch and non-touch options can tilt 30-degree, the touch model can be folded flat, but it doesn’t include support for stylus.

Dell is also opting to power its new desktop with Intel’s sixth-generation processors up to Core i7, optional AMD R9 M470X or M485X graphics, up to 32GB or 64GB of memory, and for storage you can get a 1TB SSD or a massive 2TB hard drive with a 32GB, 512GB, or 1TB M.2 SSD option.

The new XPS 27 includes a number of ports, including five standards USB 3.0, USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 support, HDMI out, SD card reader, and Ethernet port.

As with most Windows 10 PC these days, the XPS 27 all-in-one also includes support for Windows Hello. However, the new desktop isn’t powerful enough to support virtual reality, if that’s something you’re looking to get into.

The 2017 Dell XPS 27 all-in-one PC is available now for a starting price of $1499, and while you won’t be getting the bells and whistles for that money, you’ll get the amazing InfinityEdge display.
