Dell builds the first 17″ 2-in-1 laptop in the world

Dell refreshes its Inspiron line of Windows 10 PCs, and introduces the world's first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop.

Inspiron 15 5000 Series Touch Notebooks

Dell launches its new Inspiron line of PCs running Windows 10, including the “world’s first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop.” These new Windows 10 devices pricing start as low as $249 and they will be available in June.

Dell’s latest 2-in-1 PC line includes the Inspiron 7000, Inspiron 11 3000, Inspiron 5000, and Inspiron 15/17 5000 running Intel’s 6th-generation Core processors, up to 16GB of memory, USB Type-C port, and infrared camera to sign-in using Windows Hello.

Dell Inspiron 7000

Dell is kicking off the launch of its new Windows 10 PCs with the Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 laptops. The 7000 series come three screen sizes, including a 13, 15, and 17-inch models. They all pack Intel’s 6th-generation Intel Core processors, full high-definition resolution displays, USB Type-C and DisplayPort ports, and Solid-State Drive.

The new Inspiron 7000 series features an aluminum design and 360-degree hinge design offering four modes, including laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes.

These devices come with a built-in infrared camera to make use of Windows Hello biometric authentication.

Inspiron 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 Touch Notebooks

The Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1s are available starting June 2nd from in the United States and China staring at $749.

Dell Inspiron 5000

The Inspiron 5000 series offers two screen models, including a 13 and 15-inch, both with a sleek new design and True‐life LED‐Backlit Touch Display offering 1920 x 1080 screen resolutions. The 2-in-1s offer the options of latest Intel processors, up to 16GB of memory, and Solid-State Drive.

In addition, they come with an infrared camera to sign-in to Windows 10 using Windows Hello.

Inspiron 15 5000 Series 2-in-1 Touch Notebook

The Dell Inspiron 5000 2-in-1s are available starting June 2nd from in the United States and China staring at $529.

Dell Inspiron 15/17 5000

Finally, Dell is also introducing its new 15 and 17-inch Inspiron 5000 series laptops. Both of these devices offer beautiful designs and glossy finish. The Inspiron 5000 series is powered by Intel’s 6th-generation processors up to Core i7, up to 16GB of memory, and Solid-State Drive.

The optional infrared camera is available for the 15-inch models to use Windows Hello for biometric authentication. The 5000 series come in a number of colors, including Midnight Blue, Bali Blue, Fog Night and Tango Red.

Dell Inspiron 3000

The Inspiron 3000 is a convertible laptop featuring an 11-inch 1366 x 768-pixel resolution display, powered by Intel’s Core M processors, up to M3. The 2-in-1 also sports USB 3.0 port, and Micro SD media card reader, and Solid-State Drive.
