Unfortunately, this technique no longer works. All references to older versions have been removed by Microsoft. If you’re an IT person and REALLY need it, you have to pay a ton of $$$ to get it (and it can take a very long time to get it). MS only supports the giant companies – Screw the little guy! Ugh!

Just tried this on 23 May 2023. It only showed me Windows 10 22H2. Apparently Microsoft has plugged whatever hole Mr. Batard used to get access to older versions of Windows. Using Rufus 4.0.2035.

Tbh I never knew rufus could do this it’s awesome and I’m just happy it’s coming from microsoft themselves not some random 3rd party. I’ve used rufus tbh in the past but it’s been a couple of years as I found out about Ventoy which makes it super easy to do just drag and drop the iso onto the ventoy partition and your good. (just make sure to select it on the main menu of ventoy).
