Google Chrome has a new “Quieter notification permission prompts” option in the advanced settings page, starting version 80, which has been designed to minimize the number of notification interruptions from websites.
The option doesn’t eliminate notification requests completely. Instead, when enabled, you’ll now see a “quieter” prompt on the right side of the address bar letting you know that a notification has been blocked. Of course, you also have the choice to unblock the notification from the same prompt.

How to enable quieter notifications feature in Chrome
To enable quieter messaging to block website notification requests, use these steps:

Open Google Chrome.

Type the following path in the address bar and press Enter:

Under the “Quieter notification permission prompts” option, use the drop-down menu on the right and select Enabled (or Disabled to turn the feature off).

Click the Relaunch button.

When Google Chrome launches again, click the menu (three-dotted) button from the top-right corner.

Select the Settings option.

Open the Advanced menu from the left pane.

Click on Privacy and security.

Select the Site Settings option.

Once you complete the steps, Google Chrome will block notifications from interrupting you while browsing the internet.
In the case that you want to allow the notification, simply click the Bell button and click the Allow for this site button.
If you’re not seeing the new notification option, you’re like not running version 80 or higher. You can always update the browser from the helps page (chrome://settings/help).
