This guy mods Xbox One and turned it into an ‘Xbook One’ laptop

Did you ever think you can convert your Xbox One into a laptop? Modder Edward Zarick has a history on modding Xbox consoles, and today he’s taking upon himself to make Xbox One more portable.

Let’s get one thing out of the way here, the reference as “laptop” is a bit misleading, because you obviously can’t have any work done in here, unless you play games for a living. This is a more portable version of Xbox One that you can easily take to a LAN party.

The Xbook One laptop as Ed calls it, houses all the Xbox One parts on a custom body with 3D-printed parts, and it features a gorgeous 22-inch Vizio 1080p LCD display.

And yes, it’s for sale, the model with Kinect gets a price tag of $1,500, while the version without Kinect cost $1,400. If you also like an HDMI-out port it will run you another $50.

The modded “portable” version of Xbox One has its own 30-day warranty from Edward Zarick, as Microsoft’s warranty gets obviously voided with these modifications. It’s pricy, but if have $1,500 laying around and you are looking for something unique, and you happen to be a gamer, the Xbook One may just be what you’re looking for.

If you had the money would you buy it?
