HP introduces new Omen gaming PCs powered by Windows 10

HP launches the Omen line with two laptops, one desktop tower, and one 32-inch display.

HP is introducing its new line of Omen gaming computers running Windows 10. These new devices are aimed for gamers looking for power, performance, and style.

The new HP Omen line includes twee new product category, including laptop, desktop, and a new display.

HP Omen laptops

The Omen line begins with two new laptops — a 15.6-inch and a 17.3-inch model –. They’re both identical devices, featuring a black color design and a “Dragon Red” backlit keyboard. The devices also sport dual fan design to keep components cooled, a 62-watt battery, NVidia GTX graphics up to 965M, and up to Intel’s 6th generation Core i7 quad-core processors.

Other tech specs include up to 16GB of memory and up to 512GB for SSD storage, up to 2TB of traditional rotating platters hard driver, or dual storage options up to 4TB HDD and 128GB SSHD9 on select models.

Audio is provided by Bang & Olufsen and HP Audio Boost technology. In addition, HP claims up to 10 hours of battery life with HP Fast Charge on select models.

The Omen laptops will be available on July 10th on HP.com and Best Buy. The 15.6-inch diagonal laptop has a starting price at $899.99, and the 17.3-inch diagonal laptop will be available starting at $979.99.

The Omen desktop tower features a slim and compact design with tool-less access to upgrade the hardware at any time. The tower features NVidia GeForce GTX 1080 (or AMD Radeon R9 390X) graphics, optional liquid cooling, and an advanced thermal system. Additionally, there is an Intel Core i7-6700K processor with overclocking in select models.

The Omen desktop will be available on August 2016 from HP.com, pricing still yet to be determined.

The Omen desktop isn’t complete without a great display. HP is also announcing the 32-inch (2560 x 1440) Omen display with wide-viewing angles with 100 percent sRGB color space for true colors.

AMD FreeSync technology offers a smooth frame rate for the best gaming experience.

The Omen display will be also available in August from HP.com, pricing still yet to be determined.
