Starting with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Microsoft Edge introduces a number of new features, improvements, and adds some design visual changes using Microsoft’s Fluent Design System.

If you’ve been a Chrome user for a long time, and now, you want to switch, or at least you want to give Microsoft’s web browser a chance, Edge includes an option that makes it super easy to import Chrome bookmarks, browsing history, cookies, passwords, and other settings.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to import your Chrome settings into Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.

How to bring all your Chrome settings to Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the menu (three-dotted) button on the top-right corner.

  3. Click on Settings.

  4. Click the Import from another browser button.

  5. Select Chrome.

  6. Click the Import button.

After completing the steps, you can start using Microsoft Edge with your Chrome settings.

In addition, it’s also possible to only bring your bookmarks. Simply export your Chrome bookmarks as an HTML file, and then click the Import from file button in the import settings page for Microsoft Edge.
