To download and install Visual Studio Code, use these steps:

  1. Open Visual Studio Code page.

  2. Click the Windows button.

  3. Save the file on your device.

  4. Double-click the file to launch the Visual Studio Code installation on Windows 10.

  5. Confirm the agreement terms.

  6. Click the Next button.

  7. Use the default installation location and click the Next button.

  8. Use the default Start menu settings and click the Next button.

  9. (Optional) Check the Add “Open with code” action to Windows Explorer file context menu option.
