For June 2016, Microsoft is releasing new firmware updates for its flagship of devices, including Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, and Surface 3 LTE running Windows 10.
The updates rolling in June brings improvements stability for all the devices, and new changes on how battery life is handled when devices are in connected standby.

Surface Pro 4
- Improved system stability when resuming from sleep or hibernation.
- Optimized battery life usage when connected standby.
- Fixed issue where touch screen remained active when clipboard is closed against keyboard.
Surface 3 LTE
- Better reliability of mobile broadband connectivity.
Surface Book
- Improved system stability when resuming from sleep or hibernation.
- Optimized battery life usage when connected standby.
- Fixed issue where touch screen remained active when clipboard is closed against keyboard.
- Fewer unexpected shutdowns while device is sleeping.
If you have not received the update on your Surface, then manually check by going to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and try manually forcing the download.
