CES 2017 — Lenovo challenges Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 with its new Miix 720 tablet. Similar to the Surface line, the Miix 720 is a 12-inch device with a kickstand that can be adjusted to different viewing angles up to 150 degrees.

Lenovo’s Miix 720 also features a detachable keyboard, which unlike the Surface Pro 4, it comes included with the device.

It’s not just about the bundled keyboard that makes it a Surface Pro 4 alternative. The new tablet from Lenovo features a 12-inch 2880 x 1920-pixel resolution display (QHD+) and a Thunderbolt 3 port that enable the device to support two additional external displays.

You can also get the Miix 720 with up to an Intel Core i7 Kaby Lake processor, Intel HD Graphics 620, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of SSD for storage.

The tablet also includes an infrared camera for biometric authentication using Windows Hello. It also supports Lenovo’s new Active Pen 2, which is a perfect accessory to use with Windows Ink. Perhaps the most noticeable feature about the pen is its 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, which doubles the previous version, and quadruples the pressure sensitivity of the Surface Pen.
