I’m trying to use Transmac (current version 14.2) and it create the bootable USB drive as APM (not matter what partition table was using before) and that way the MacBook Pro 8.1 won’t boot using it. How can I use Transmac with GTP?

In reply to Civvie420. I'm having the same problem. After some hours trying, I went to my Linux PC and saw that the USB drive (initially formatted as GTP) was reformatted by Transmac as an APM (Apple Partition Map), and that way it won't boot. I'm currently searching for an alternative

I formatted the USB to GPT etc, and transferred a Mac OSX image to it, but the iMac doesn’t even see the USB or show it in the list of drives after I boot it up holding down the Option key.

It only took me 20 minutes to transfer the osx files. Wondered if the author used a decade old toaster for this operation.
