Microsoft is preparing to launch two new high-end Windows Phone handsets later this year, which are currently known as Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. While we have already seen the leak specifications and mockups of the devices, today new images leaked onto the web showing the new Lumia 950 XL (Cityman) handset prototype for the first time in the WPXAP forums.
The images have been confirmed to be accurate and recent. The images also show a phone featuring a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display with a black body made of polycarbonate, but the device in the images has a protective casing that prevents to see exactly how it looks like.
In the back it’s also visible the new 20 megapixel camera and triple LED flash. The images clearly show that the phone features a USB Type-C support.
The Cityman will also include support for the Microsoft’s Surface Pen technology and there will be a smart cover that features a circular cut to easy access to notifications. Although the images only show the Lumia 950 XL, the Lumia 950 (Talkman) is very similar on design and features. However the Talkman won’t include a triple LED flash and it’s a 5.2-inch display handset.
