Microsoft is expected to announce new Surface devices during a special event on September 22, 2021. Unlike previous events, this will be a virtual event, which may stream live since there’s a new “Join us to see what’s new” page on the Microsoft website pointing out Wednesday, September 22 at 11 AM ET as the date and time for the event.

During this event, it’s expected that the company will unveil the Surface Book 4, which may get a new name. According to Window Central, this new device that will include a non-detachable 14-inch display could be called “Surface Laptop Pro.”

Also, as previous leaks have shown, Microsoft may be planning to unveil the new version of the Android-based dual-screen device, the Surface Duo 2.

Alongside these devices, the company may even introduce the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Go 3.

The news of the event comes just days after the company announcing the October 5 date for the release of Windows 11, which indicates that these new devices will come pre-loaded with the new OS.
