Microsoft releases the final version Office apps for Android phones. On June 24th, the software maker removed the preview label of its Office apps and now users can get Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps for their Android phones.

The release happens only weeks after the company made available to the public the preview of Office for Android phones.

The Office apps are now available for download from Google Play and they offer the same touch-first capability as the Office apps are already available for Android tablets. While they bundle a number of features, they still mobile apps and they aren’t to replace the desktop versions. In addition, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint offer native support for Dropbox and OneDrive.

The apps require Android 4.4 or later and they replace the old Office Mobile hub on Android phones.
