Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday for November is rolling out now and the company has issue a total of sixteen security bulletins: four rated Critical, nine rated Important, two rated Moderate and the remaining aren’t yet rated. All the new updates for this Patch Tuesday will address 33 vulnerabilities on all versions of Windows including Windows 8.1, Windows RT, Windows 7, and even Windows Technical Preview; Internet Explorer, Office, and other products such as .Net Framework, Internet Information Services (IIS), Remote Desktop Protocol, Active Directory Federation Services, Input Method Editor, and Kernel Mode Driver (KMD).
Windows 10 is also getting four security updates, which are rated as Critical. “Windows Technical Preview and Windows Server Technical Preview are affected. Customers running these operating systems are encouraged to apply the update, which is available via Windows Update.” Microsoft notes.
November Patch Tuesday is rolling out now, they will install automatically, but you always can try getting the manually via Windows Update in Control Panel and going to the PC settings.
If you’re looking for Surface firmware update for November, Microsoft has yet to announce any new updates. I’ll be updating this article accordingly, if there is a new firmware for the Microsoft’s Surface tablet family.
