Windows 10 Mobile on this Tech Recap

This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft delivers a new Insider preview build for its mobile operating system with a plethora of features and changes. Windows 10 Mobile build 14322 brings updated UI for Action Center, notifications, and improved Quick Actions.

The mobile version of Windows 10 also includes improvements on the Settings app, the Lock screen now supports music playback controls and camera button, Cortana gets two more ways to create reminders, and perhaps one of the best new feature is the new support for USB Ethernet adapter on mobile device using the Microsoft Display Dock.

With the new features on Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft is also publishing a number of new bug fixes and known issues for build 14322.

Early this week, the software maker released a new Windows 10 update for non-Insider PCs and phones bumping the build number to 10586.218. The new update doesn’t bring new features, but it does include various new improvements.

If you’re not part of the Windows Insider Program or you want to discover everything that’s new on the latest Anniversary Update preview, you can watch now the new hands-on video with Windows 10 build 14316. The video highlights everything Microsoft officially announced and many unannounced features and changes.

Recently, the software giant launched a new website that details the roadmap of Windows 10 for business customers, but doing so the company also unveiled many new features we haven’t heard before and are coming with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, including new feature to unlock your PC with your phone or Microsoft Band 2, picture in picture, touch support for Continuum for phones, support for new accessories, and a lot more.

Surface Pro 4 and Surface Pro 3 customers can now also choose to get the luxurious Type Cover made of Alcantara fabric. The Type Cover is available now in the Microsoft Store for $159.99.

Latest preview of Windows 10 shows improvements on the Blue Screen of Death. Now the popular error screen features QR codes to help users and support technician to quickly identify errors.

If you haven’t updated to Windows 10 and you’re still doubtful about the new operating system, you can now test drive (sort of) Windows 10 with the new emulator that the company is making available online.

Finally, this week I added a couple new guides to help you download the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview builds from Microsoft to do a clean install without having to use Windows Update, and you also learn in a new video the easy steps to delete a previous version of the operating system after upgrading to Windows 10 using the new Settings options and not the Disk Cleanup tool.
