Office for iPhone and Android are now completely free

Office Mobile for Android and iPhone

It’s only logical, Microsoft makes Office Mobile apps for iPhone and Android free for all users, and best of all, you don’t need an Office 365 subscription to view or edit documents using the suite of apps.

The news follows Microsoft announcement of Office for iPad and the Office Mobile apps available for free will allow the company to have even more users being dependable of the software. Besides, like I said in the beginning, it’s only logical, as no many users feel conformable editing a document is such tiny device.

Office for Android and iPhone is free for all users, but it’s only intended for “home use”, Microsoft still going to force businesses to have Office 365 to use the suite on mobile phones. However, there is a back door, as workers can easily install the set of apps on their personal phones and edit work documents. It’s obvious that Microsoft knows this, but still will help to push the software even more into people hands. Office Mobile is available in the App Store and Google Play.
