OneNote online gets co-authoring and faster syncing

OneNote co-authoring update and faster syncing

Microsoft just added a couple new features to OneNote Online, and even though these new additions aren’t significant, they do improve the experience of the popular note-taking application. Today the software maker is announcing two features: People Presence and improved syncing.

People Presence is a new feature in to help users see who else is working on the same notebook or in the same OneNote page simultaneously, no matter which client they are using.

Syncing is also improving with the latest update, which makes edits sync between devices almost in real-time.

I’ve been using Microsoft’s OneNote for quite some time, and it’s the closest to a near perfect note-taking application. Not only keeps all the notes organized in one place using OneDrive, but you can easily easily share and collaborate with other. And best of all, OneNote is available on pretty much every platform including Windows, iOS, OS X, Android, and even Amazon’s fire devices.
