Xbox Games with Gold for September includes Mirror’s Edge and Forza Horizon

Games with Gold for September 2016 offers four new free games for members with a total of $74+ of savings.

September 2016 free games for Xbox One and Xbox 360

If you own an Xbox and you also are an Xbox Live subscriber, you’ll get over $74 worth of games for September. Microsoft announced four new games you would be getting for free as part of the Games with Gold program. For the month of September 2016, you’ll be able to download Earthlock: Festival of Magic, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles China, Forza Horizon, and Mirror’s Edge.

As always, there are two games for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360, but remember that you can play all the Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One console through Backward compatibility.

During the month of September 2016, Xbox One owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership can download Earthlock: Festival of Magic ($29.99 ERP) for free during the entire month. Then Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China ($9.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from September 16th through October 15th.

On Xbox 360, starting September 1st and until September 15th, you can download Forza Horizon ($19.99 ERP) for free. And finally, on September 16th, you can download Mirror’s Edge ($14.99 ERP) for free until the end of September.
