And after about 2 hours of changing settings in my router, switch, and computer, I still didn’t have Internet. This page fixed me right up in about 30 seconds ??

I tried ‘How to assign static IP address using Settings’. I navigated to Network & Internet but I don’t have a Wi-Fi option to click on. I’m using Windows 10 Home Edition. Maybe I need the Pro version?

Try using these steps to reset the network card and see if the option becomes available. https://pureinfotech.com/network-reset-fix-wifi-windows-10/
After using these steps, you may need to reconfigure Wi-Fi, VPN, and other settings, if applicable.
