Weekly Digest: Surface 2019 lineup, Windows 10 updates, tech tips

In case you missed it, Microsoft reveals new Surface devices, Windows 10 version 1903 gets updated, new 20H1 preview rolls out to testers, and more tips to get the most out of your PC.

This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft unveiled a bunch of new devices during its Surface event in New York City, including the new Surface Laptop 3 featuring an AMD Ryzen processor. The new Surface Pro X powered by a semi-custom ARM processor from Qualcomm. The updated Surface Pro 7, Surface Earbuds, and perhaps more importantly, the upcoming Surface Duo phone running Android and the Surface Neo dual-screen tablet running Windows 10X.

Windows 10 version 1903 and older versions received a new security update ahead of the October 2019 Patch Tuesday to fix a vulnerability with Internet Explorer and a problem with the print spooler that prevented users from printing on Windows 10.

As part of the 20H1, Windows 10 build 18995 in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program bringing PIN authentication support when starting in Safe mode, updated File Explorer context menu for .HEIC files, Magnifier as well as Narrator improvements.
