According to the Surface 3 update history page, the new firmware will improve the Surface Cover, and audio, camera, graphics, and wireless network experience.

The June firmware update for Surface Pro 3 will get the device ready for Windows 10 and improves performance for the wireless controller.

On June, it appears that there is no new updates for the Surface RT, Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2, or even for the Surface 2.

The update is available immediately, but because the updates are delivered via Windows Update, everyone will receive the updates in different times. However, you can always go to Windows Update in Control Panel and try to update manually.

Microsoft Band

The fitness Band also received a new firmware update on June 23rd. According to the update logs, the new update includes general fixes and improvements. However, no specific details has been announced.

Previously, the company said that a future update would allow the fitness Band to display “Web tiles” to display Web data in live-tile form, but there is no details when the new functionality will reach to users.

Microsoft is also reportedly building a new Band, which it’s said that will launch later in the year, and the only piece of information we have is that the Band 2.0 will not run Windows 10, instead it will continue to run firmware.
