Microsoft has launched a new version of its smallest tablet, the Surface Go 2. The new device follows the same thin and lightweight design trend found in the previous version, but now, the Go 2 has a slightly bigger 10.5-inch screen reducing the overall size of bezels without modifying the dimensions of the device.

The base model comes with an Intel Pentium Gold processor that starts at $399.99, but you can also choose the better model featuring an 8th generation Core m3 processor, which according to the company should give you over 60 percent more performance.

Also, the Surface Go 2 base model comes with 64GB of eMMC for internal storage and 4GB of memory. However, you can select a variant of the base model with 128GB Solid-State Drive for internal storage and 8GB of memory for $549.

The Core i3 model ships with 128GB Solid-State Drive for internal storage and 8GB of memory, and it’s priced at $629.

Surface Go 2 also comes with the Studio Mics (dual-microphone solution) for increased voice clarity and reduced background noise, and a 5MP front-facing and 8MP rear-facing for 1080p HD video. (You can check all the technical specs in this guide.)

In addition, you can also order optional accessories, including the Surface Go Signature Type Cover with Alcantara (Platinum, Black, Poppy Red, and Ice Blue), which cost $129, but you can also get the basic black cover for only $99.

You can order the device starting May 12, in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Japan.
