Weekly Digest: Surface Go 2, Surface Book 3, tech tips

In case you missed it, Surface Go 2, Surface Book 3, Surface Headphones 2, and Surface Earbuds have arrived, Microsoft Family Safety app releases in preview, and more tips to get the most out of your PC.

This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft launched a new version of its small tablet, the Surface Go 2 with a bigger screen and better internals, and you can preorder it now.

The company also launched the Surface Book 3 without design changes, but faster storage up to 2TB, up to 32GB of RAM, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics. You can preorder the Book 3 now from the Microsoft Store.

In addition, Microsoft also introduce the Surface Headphone 2 and the Surface Earbuds, which are the first wireless earbuds from the company, and they’re priced at $249 and $199 respectively.

Since E3 isn’t happening this year, the software giant unveiled that will be hosting monthly Inside Xbox shows, known as Xbox 20/20 to showcase the Xbox Series X console and games, and the first episode happened this week.

The Microsoft Family Safety app released as preview for Android and iOS, and you can sign up to get early access now.

Windows 10 build 19624 rolled out in the Fast ring with several fixes and improvements, but without any significant new features. Also, the company made available the ISO file for build 19619 for anyone wanting to test the preview using a clean installation.

Microsoft revealed that is shifting focus with Windows 10X, and it’s making the new variant of Windows 10 a single-screen experience first, and then it’ll later come to dual-screen devices.

Although it’s not yet official, sources say that Microsoft is planning to release the Windows 10 May 2020 Update on May 28, 2020.
