Microsoft is now rolling out a batch of updates for its Surface Go tablet running Windows 10 version 1803 or version 1809.

The February 2019 firmware update is minor (via Neowin), and according to the Microsoft support page, it’s meant for the model only featuring Wi-Fi connectivity to improve system stability, networking, and pen.

Here are all the new fixes and improvements in this new Surface Go update:

  • Surface Pen Firmware Update – System devices: 3.0.10.1 resolves intermittent Pen top button click failure on Surface Pen with no clip, post-Windows 10 October 2018 Update. Use the Surface Pen Checker Tool to verify that the Pen’s firmware was successfully updated.
  • Surface Pen Integration Device – Human Interface Devices: 1.0.9.0 enables firmware update to Surface Pen with no clip.
  • Surface UEFI – Firmware: 1.0.14.0 improves system stability.

  • Qualcomm Atheros Wireless Network Adapter– Network adapters: 12.0.0.722 improves wireless security and Miracast support.

The update should download and install automatically, but if you have not received it on your Surface, then you can go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and try to force the download manually.

The new Surface Go follows the same design language found on Surface Pro, but it’s a 10-inch tablet that weighs 1.5 pounds and is powered by an Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage.
