Weekly Digest: Surface Go, Windows 10 version 1809, tech tips

In case you missed it, Surface Go hit the shelves, new Windows 10 Redstone 5 previews become available, and more tech tips to get the most out of your PC.

This week on Pureinfotech: Surface Go is now available for purchase at the Microsoft Store, Amazon, and various other retailers. Also, the Microsoft Store is currently offering up to $300 discount in most Surface Laptop models.

After releasing Windows 10 build 17728 in the Fast ring for testers, Microsoft quickly made available build 17730, also in the Fast ring. These two new previews part of the Windows 10 Redstone 5 development (version 1809) are minor updates as the company is currently focus on finalizing the new version for the September or October release.

In addition, you can download build 17713 ISO file, if you want to perform a clean install of the Windows 10 Redstone 5 update.

If you’re a participant of the Windows Insider Program, you can now try the first preview of the Your Phone app for Windows 10 to access your phone content without having to unlock your mobile device.

The first two Xbox titles you’re getting in August 2018, as part of the Games with Gold Program, are now ready for download, and in case you missed it, you can also download the pick of the week theme: Swimming Holes to refresh your desktop.

Tech tips
