Microsoft is expected to introduce new Surface devices during its October 2 event, and among the announcements, the company could also unveil a bigger model of the upcoming Surface Laptop 3.
According to a new report from WinFuture, Microsoft will be revealing a 15-inch model of the Surface Laptop 3 featuring a 3:2 aspect ratio, and it’s possible that this new model could be powered by an AMD processor.
Currently, you can only purchase a 13.5-inch model of the Surface Laptop 2, which means that if the report is accurate, consumers will have the same display configuration options as the Surface Book 2.
Alongside with the Surface Laptop 3 15-inch rumor, another report from WinFuture reveals that during the event, Microsoft is planning to introduce five different new models of the Surface Pro 7 tablet, including:
- Intel Core i3, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD
- Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD
- Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD
- Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD
- Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD
In addition, the company is expected to announce the availability of USB Type-C on these Surface Pro 7 devices as well as new tablet using Qualcomm processor.
